To test if the worker MPM has been correctly compiled into binary, use:

httpd -l
</pre>
 
You should see:

Compiled in modules:
  core.c
  ...
  worker.c
  http_core.c
  ...
</pre>
 
Also you can use:

httpd -V
</pre>
 
should report the binary in worker mode.
