Overview
The Jenkins plugin seems to be named incorrectly, conflating Amazon EC2 and Amazon ECS (Elastic Container Service), which are two different services.. The plugin uses ECS, and the EC2 in the name should simply be tolerated. The plugin manages "Amazon EC2 Container Service" agent clouds.
