The "DNS Client" consists of a set of library calls that are configured as described below.

There are no services that need to be started.

Configuration Files

/etc/resolv.conf

/etc/resolv.conf specifies the configuration of the DNS resolver. However, in some cases its content it is overwritten by network initialization scripts/NetworkManager.

Test

Test with dig or nslookup.
