Option -> Right Click Finder -> Relaunch
Method 2
Launch Finder, Shift + Apple Icon -> Force Quit Finder
iTerm2 Mouse Pointer Disappears on High Resolution
iTerm2 mouse pointer disappears on some monitors when using high resolution. Solution:
System Preferences -> Accessibility -> Display -> Increase the cursor size a bit.
Change the Behavior of Function Keys
System Preferences -> Keyborard -> Keyboard tab -> Select "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys"
Change File Extension/Application Association
This procedure changes the default application a file opens on Mac:
- Select a file with the format in question
- Right click -> Get Info -> Open With (note that "Open With" does not show up for symbolic links) -> Select the app -> Change All
