Post-Install
Start at Boot
systemctl enable mariadb.service systemctl start mariadb.service
Secure
Make sure the database is started.
/usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation
Enter current password for root (enter for none): ... Set root password? [Y/n] Y ... Remove anonymous users? [Y/n] Y ... Disallow root login remotely? [Y/n] Y ... Remove test database and access to it? [Y/n] Y ... Reload privilege tables now? [Y/n] Y ... All done! If you've completed all of the above steps, your MariaDB installation should now be secure.
