Disable Auto-Correct
Edit -> Spelling and Grammar -> Uncheck "Correct Spelling Automatically"
The settings can be changed only if the Safari window is in position to correct spelling automatically - like in an text edit control. Otherwise, the setting is grayed out and cannot be changed.
Clear Cache
Hold Shift while clicking Reload, or press ⌘-R on a Mac.
