Installation

With yum

yum install -y iproute

With apt

apt install -y iproute2

Usage Examples

Show All Network Interfaces and Their Details

ip addr show

Show Details for a Specific Network Interface

ip addr show dev eth0

Turn Device On/Off

ip link set dev eth0 up|down
