Overview

Maven will replace properties specified in its resource files during the "Maven_Concepts_-_Lifecycle#process-resources" phase, or while building an assembly, if filtering is turned on.

In order to be replaced, a property must be specified as such:

... ${property_name} ...

Filtering can be turned on as follows:

1. Turing on Filtering and Property Substitution during Execution of the Resource Plugin
2. Turning on Filtering and Property Substitution while Building an Assembly
