Get the Configuration

sysctl net.inet.tcp | grep "keepidle"

Set the Configuration

To set the configuration to survive reboot, use either sysctl or update /etc/sysctl.conf, creating the file if it does not exists.

Example:

sysctl -w net.inet.tcp.keepidle=180000 net.inet.tcp.keepcnt=3 net.inet.tcp.keepintvl=10000

/etc/sysctl.conf:

net.inet.tcp.keepidle=180000
net.inet.tcp.keepintvl=10000
net.inet.tcp.keepcnt=3
